SHIPPING
All perishable orders are shipped on Mondays, unless otherwise stated. Delivery is typically expected within 48 hours from shipping. Non-perishable orders will be shipped within 2-3 days of ordering, unless otherwise stated.
Shipping via UPS Ground is Only Available Within the Continental United States.
Shipping to Alaska or Hawaii is available by UPS Next Day Air pricing. We do not ship internationally. Sorry, we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes, but we are happy to deliver to rural routes with complete addresses and telephone numbers.
Standard Shipping
Our products are individually vacuum-sealed, frozen, enclosed in the box with gel packs to keep them at the desired temperature during transit, and packed into eco friendly insulated boxes.
Seasonings and other shelf stable products will either be packed with cold items or shipped alone in appropriate materials.
Please allow 3-5 business days for processing time in addition to the shipping transit times. Rates are calculated per shipping address.
Packages are shipped via ground services. For expedited shipping, please choose UPS 2nd Day Air or UPS Next Day Air at checkout.
Hart Country reserves the right to temporarily refrain from processing orders based on severe weather in the transit process. Customers are notified immediately via phone and/or email of the slight delay. Usually occurring in winter weather or excessive summer heat, typical delays are 1-2 business days.
UPS Ground: We ship UPS Ground to customers that choose that option. Midwestern states can expect their boxes approximately 1-2 days after shipment and coastal states can expect their boxes approximately 3-4 days after shipment, but are encouraged to choose 2nd Day Air or Overnight Delivery as products are guaranteed cold for 48 hours.

**PLEASE NOTE: This schedule is provided to offer an estimate and is not a guarantee of delivery times. While we make every effort to meet these guidelines, periods of increased volume (including holidays and unforeseen circumstances) may extend the processing time of shipments. Upon processing an order for shipment, emails are generated to each customer with UPS tracking numbers. Please refer to this email with UPS tracking ID# for a more precise delivery date.
Addresses & Availability
Hart Country Meats offers no guarantee of delivery with incorrect addresses. Please ensure all shipping addresses are correct prior to submitting your order. It is the responsibility of the consumer to ensure that the contents of the package can be refrigerated promptly upon delivery. Hart Country Meats is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, or perish due to the recipient not being available at the time of delivery. It is the responsibility of the sender to ensure someone is available to receive a gift package at the time of delivery. It is the buyer’s responsibility to make any special arrangements upon delivery for any order shipped to any apartment address. Typically, UPS will deliver to an apartment lobby. Please note that UPS will deliver to your doorstep with “No Signature Required.” Shipping to PO Boxes is not available.
General Information
Your products should be frozen, partially frozen, or cool to the touch when you open the package. Partially thawed products can be re-frozen. It is the responsibility of the consumer to follow all health and safety guidelines when thawing and handling products.
